For short jobs, yes. A full tint is several hours, so most people drop the car and come back. There are plenty of places to sit within a few blocks, and Thai Town is a short walk east.
No, and deliberately. Film is fitted indoors because airborne dust that lands between the film and the glass is sealed there for good. Curbside fitting cannot control that, and it is the one fault you cannot correct afterwards.
Morning drop-off gives the best chance of same-day collection on tint work. Call ahead and we will give you a realistic time for your specific car. Larger SUVs and glass roofs take longer.
Yes. Production vehicles and picture cars come through regularly, and we can work to a shooting schedule if you tell us the dates up front. Continuity matters, so we match finishes across matching vehicles.
It does. Street-parked cars take far more sun and far more contact damage, so we usually push toward ceramic film and coverage on the panels people brush past. Door edges and handle cups are worth doing.
That is a common pattern. Burbank and the Hollywood lots are close enough that people leave the car with us for the working day and collect on the way home. Give us the drop time and we plan around it.
Yes, both are within a few minutes. So are Los Feliz and East Hollywood, which is most of our walk-in and short-drive work. Silver Lake and Echo Park are only a little further.
Not always. California limits front side windows to above 70% light transmission, and plenty of cars on the Boulevard are darker than that. We fit to the legal limit and tell you what the rule actually says.
